Im not talking about ussain bolt for creating sprint records, I m actually referring to my (aarthi included) adventures in catching my office bus. In this Gandhian era, if there is one person who is punctual is my bus driver. on dot 8:15 am, he is there Near shanthi sweets at Tippasandra. what happens when you leave your house at 8:13 am and it takes little more than 2 mins to reach bus stop? We end chasing the bus.
With my current physical condition, I am unable to drive my 2 wheeler. so catching bus is the only option. Miss the bus at shanthi sweets, aarthi turns her pleasure and becomes an F1 driver (Mallya can try her for Force India) and the next stop is Jeeven Bheema Nagar entrance, if we miss that also then HAL Entrance, If we miss that too then thanks to BMTC volvo ...
Its really amazing to feel the value of few seconds daily at the start of the day and forget the same by end of the day ... afterall I m a Human (Thats not an excuse :) )

Thou shall Not ...
During my visit to st.Johns today for my physio Therapy I read the below on their notice board. I liked them ...
1.Thou shalt not worry, for worry is the most unproductive of all human activities.
2.Thou shalt not be fearful, for most of the things we fear never come to pass.
3.Thou shalt not cross bridges before you get to them, for no one yet has succeeded
in accomplishing this.
4.Thou shalt face each problem as it comes. You can handle only one at a time
anyway.
5.Thou shalt not take problems to bed with you for they make very poor bedfellows.
6.Thou shalt not borrow other people's problems. They can take better care of them
than you can.
7.Thou shalt not try to relive yesterday for good or ill — it is gone. Concentrate
on what is happening in your life today.
8.Thou shalt count thy blessings, never overlooking the small ones, for a lot of
small blessings add up to a big one.
9.Thou shalt be a good listener, for only when you listen do you hear ideas
different from your own. It is very hard to learn something new when you are
talking.
10.Thou shalt not become bogged down by frustration, for 90 percent of it is rooted
in self-pity, and it will only interfere with positive action.

Faith is the only way ...
When your mind is filled
With thoughts that are sad,
The sadness follows in your words and actions,
Leaving all those around you
Limp with your sadness.
The feeling of sadness, anger, frustration
Occurs due to lack of faith.
It is more of a lack of faith in yourselves,
Than in Me.
Most of you do not even know Me.
Those of you who think that you know Me,
Develop bigger egos and fall into bigger traps.
Some of you want to know Me
In a short span of time.
And of course when this fails,
They get even more desperate
Than when they had started their quest for Me.
Those who truly know Me,
Experience Me with total faith.
They do not present Me
Their terms, conditions and challenges.
With faith in one hand and patience in the other,
They join their hands in front of Me,
And allow Me to steer their boat,
The boat which sails, in the direction of the winds,
The winds of My divine love,
Which can sail over
The stormiest oceans of illusions.
Faith is the only way ...

Deccan Chargers ......
Deccan Chargers made it up all the way to the top. Eight in the tally last year and they have clinched it this season. Thats the way Gilchrist .... You made the difference.
I have been following the IPL this season quite regularly. In fact I own a jersey of Deccan Chargers and I wear it with pride. It was all about team effort. I loved the final. I expected CSK to come to final, but unfortunately due to their bad fielding efforts they couldn't make it.
For all known reasons a CSK vs DC final would have been lot more fun. May the CSK learn some facts about fielding and come into the field. In a way it was the victory of CSK against KXI that made DC into the semis.
Congrats Guys especially harmeet singh for bowling few balls of good line :).......
French Open , hopefully Fed Ex can stop Nadal , World T20 may we give the shelter for the cup for one more year ...... The sporting season has started off on a high note with the DC win ..... Hoping that it continues ...

When I heard ....
When I heard the learn'd astronomer,
When the proofs, the figures, were ranged in columns before me,
When I was shown the charts and diagrams, to add, divide,
and measure them,
When I sitting heard the astronomer where he lectured with
much applause in the lecture-room,
How soon unaccountable I became tired and sick,
Till rising and gliding out I wander'd off by myself,
In the mystical moist night-air, and from time to time,
Look'd up in perfect silence at the stars.
A nice piece .... Its so true just njoi the sheer beauty in the nature than to account for .... I some times wonder are we moving in the right direction. Trying to figure out how things work and how we can man make those that nature created. I dont know how quantum physics works (i guess i do know a bit ....) but I enjoy the candle light dinner ... Less Effort More Output is what the current world believes , Is it right direction to get through ..... Anyways its so wonderful to enjoy the natures beauty than to account for it ...

Acceptance ....
As life takes me through myriad experiences, there were times I questioned the way things are, at times I accepted and went along. I felt like an actor at times and director at others. But one thing I took time to learn and still learning is "Acceptance". Acceptance of How things are and what I am. I remember the days in which I was in the denial mode and not ready for acceptance.
The Lotus leaf accepts the dew drops and the scorching rays of sun alike ... The birds halt their journey when the darkness engulfs ... Tree sheds leaves in the fall and blooms in spring and questions not ... The intelligence embedded in me makes it more difficult for acceptance, But fails to realize that Acceptance is the first step on the long road ahead if I wish to travel along.
I learn't a lot from my better half, a lot about acceptance. I m more happier today because of it and am able to wade through the crests and troughs.
I liked this poem from one of my fav poets Robert Frost titled Acceptance.
It needs the thought of philosopher and walk of an ordinary man to come up with such master pieces ..... I enjoyed reading the below poem ....
When the spent sun throws up its rays on cloud
And goes down burning into the gulf below,
No voice in nature is heard to cry aloud
At what has happened. Birds, at least must know
It is the change to darkness in the sky.
Murmuring something quiet in her breast,
One bird begins to close a faded eye;
Or overtaken too far from his nest,
Hurrying low above the grove, some waif
Swoops just in time to his remembered tree.
At most he thinks or twitters softly, 'Safe!
Now let the night be dark for all of me.
Let the night be too dark for me to see
Into the future. Let what will be, be.'

Why do we Yell ? .....
Why do we Yell in anger? A sage asked his disciples 'Why people yell at each other when they are upset?' The men thought for a while, 'Because we lose our calm' said
one.'we yell for that.' 'But, why to yell when the other person is just next toyou?' asked the sage. ' Isn't it possible to speak to him or her with a softvoice? Why do you yell at a person when you're angry?'
The men gave some other answers but none satisfied the sage. Finally he explained, 'When two people are angry at each other, theirhearts distance a lot. To cover that distance they must yell, to be able to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will have to yell to hear each other through that great distance.' Then the sage asked, What happens when two people fall in love? They donot yell at each other but talk softly, why?
Their hearts are very close. The distance between them is very small...The sage continued, 'When they love each other even more, whathappens? They do not speak, only whisper and they get even closer to each other in their love. Finally they even need not whisper, they only look at each other and that's all. That is how close two people are when they love eachother.' Then the sage said, 'When you argue do not let your hearts get distant, do not say words that distance each other more, else there will come a day when the distance is so great that you will not find the path to return.
I read it in one of the Fwds that land in my inbox ... I liked it too ... Thanks Sri for sending it across ...
